Flockstar requires an active subscription to use. Two plans are available: Keeper, with complete flock, egg, and record keeping, and Breeder, which adds everything in the hatching and breeding section below. Choose an annual plan for the best value, or monthly for flexibility. Change or cancel anytime.

• Daily egg reminder - Never miss a day. Turn on a daily reminder at the time you choose and Flockstar will nudge you to log your eggs. Already logged today? The reminder stays quiet.
• Notifications settings - A new Settings > Notifications page shows whether Flockstar can send notifications on your device, with switches for task reminders and the daily egg reminder.
• No-egg days - Tap "No eggs collected" on any egg form so your calendar finally shows the difference between a day with no eggs and a day you forgot to log.
• Missed day banner - If you log eggs most days, the Eggs screen asks about a recent day you missed so you can log it or mark it as no eggs in one tap.

• The Quick Logger now groups your layers by flock, with a search for bird or flock names, so you can check off hens from every flock in one go.
• A journal entry can now be assigned to more than one flock, and it shows up under each of them.

• Profile Photos - Add up to 12 photos to any bird and star one as the primary. The new photo editor lets you add photos from your library or camera, remove the ones you no longer want, and pick the primary, all in one place.

• The gallery on a bird's profile is now the Records Gallery: a collection of the photos attached to your journal entries and egg records for that bird.
• Tapping the bird counts on a flock card takes you straight to that flock's birds.
• When your birds are filtered to a single flock, the flock name at the top of the Birds screen now stands out, with a button to quickly see all birds again.
• An empty Birds list now tells you why and how to fix it, whether your birds are inactive, filtered out, or in an archived flock.

• Traits that differ only by capitalization, like C/C and C/c, can now both be saved.
• Long pressing the action button opens your chosen editor again.

• Breeding Groups - Track hatching stats down to the birds, not just the flock. Build reusable groups for the pairings that matter: an exact dam x sire match, a rooster over a pen, or a known hen. Full lineage automatically flows through to every hatchling.
• Refreshed Hatching dashboard - The Hatching screen now leads with what needs you: runs with an overdue or due-soon candling, lockdown, or hatch, which you can complete right from the card. Below that, your recent fertility and hatch rate with trend lines, plus a leaderboard of your top sources and best birds.
• Hatching Stats - A new, dedicated Stats screen. Break performance down by egg source, flock, dam, sire, run type, or incubator, with a mini trend on every row, and tap any group to see it run by run.
• Exclude experimental hatching runs so they don't skew your numbers.
• Share and export - Export your Stats, or any single dam, sire, or flock, as a PDF or CSV to hand to a buyer or keep for your records.

• Egg Production "vs. prior" totals now compare the same days so far in the prior week, month, or year, not the whole prior period.
• Sorting birds by Leg Band / Tag ID now follows number order for bands that start with digits (1, 2, 11 instead of 1, 11, 2).

Bug Fixes
• Count fields no longer open the keyboard when you tap plus or minus, and tapping a 0 clears it so you can type right over it. 6.8.0 Aug 6 Flockstar now offers two subscription plans:

• Build it out: Fill an empty parent slot with an existing bird or a brand-new ancestor, and change or clear any parent any time.
